If you arrive by car, please note, that parking in central Bern is limited and subject to fees (CHF 30 per 24h). Public transport is strongly recommended.
Getting to the ENEAR 2026 Conference at UniS:
Stops: Bern main station (Bern Bahnhof) or Bern Universität or Bern Obergericht
- Walking: The University of Bern is in walking distance from the main station (Bern Bahnhof). Walking from there to the the main conference venue of the ENEAR conference, UniS, takes approximately 7-15 minutes (see detailed description on the next pages).
- Public Transport in Bern: Several buses and trams connect Bern main station with the university area. Connections can be checked via the SBB App or Google Maps. (if you stay at a Hotel in Bern you will receive a Bern City public transportation ticket for the duration of your stay. The price is included in the city tax)
- The bus stops “Bern Universität” and “Bern Obergericht” are somewhat closer to the conference venue than Bern main station. Depending on where you are staying in Bern and the bus connection you have, it can be easier to get off at one of these stops. We recommend checking the connections to these two stops in the SBB App.
